This weekend has been most interesting. It beganDebbie came in for a quick visit for lindsy Knudson's reception. It was a total surprise for Lindsey. Her fiance secretly flew her in and picked her up at the airport. Debbie was unable to observe the ceremony since she was taking care of darrick too.We did get to see her at the reception Friday evening though. She stayed at our house after the reception and had to be at the airport by 6:00 for her flight back. Short but a blessing.Saturday we did get do a little Memorial Day observation. We went to Grandpa Whites grave side and left flowers there. Sunday we had Jared and Emily over dinner and cooked stakes on the grill. It turned out nice. Joel and Linda were not able to be here then to celebrate Mom's birthday with us ,but came in Monday. They were also going to Idaho for a reunion with some of Linda's family and see if they could find Beckey's parents grave markers. They called us and said Linda had finally found them. We have very special memories wih Granma and Grandpa Marley. We were even thinking of going to Idaho our selves. But it gave Beck and I great relief and cause to rejoice. Joel and Linda made quick trip back they were going to test driving the Suburban and see if they were inclined to use it to move to Tennessee. I think they decided against it. They are looking for a little better MPG.They also came back from Idaho Sunday Evening and celebrated Mom's birthday then with us .They brought a very colorful bouquet of flowers. Bekah got stop by for a quick visit. And Rachel has called .The Blog has really been a special moment for both Mom and I. Thank you all so much. Monday,Mom, Nate, andI went to Lehi and visit graves of my parents and grand parents and great Grand Parents. So very much of my geneology is ther in Lehi and in that cemetry. Great Grandpa Ross was the 1st teacher in Lehi.Grand pa Norton and Grand pa Ross were the 1st to build homes other than the wooden frames and are remembered in Lehi History. It was with my Dad's sister in Lehi that I stayed with when he had hs eyes operated on when I was about 5-7 .I remember the rodeo and picking beans, that summer there in Lehi. It may be up to Nate to help you all find places of importance in Lehi.I hope he will try ot remember them.
